Awareness
The 82% of people with disabilities live in developing countries and live under the poverty line, and often deal with limited access to health, education, and training.
Women and men with disabilities are on the working age, however the majority of them are unemployed. People with disabilities are often excluded from education, training, and job opportunities. |
Action
In order to break the chain of poverty, people with disabilities must be given easy access to education, training and employment for sustainable livelihoods in accordance with the provisions of law number 8 of 2016.
